Our Mission

Yellow Creek Baptist Church exists to glorify God by bringing the lost to Christ, connecting the unchurched to church, and maturing the churched in their faith.

How Do I Meet People?

Yellow Creek Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Yellow Creek Baptist Church.

Youth Ministry

Each Sunday morning and Wednesday night, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Class teachers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction.

Women of the Creek

Yellow Creek Women have various opportunities of interaction.  Our women attend women conferences local and afar.  They participate in our annual food drive, and clothing drive, located in our community.  These projects provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men of the Creek

Yellow Creek Men have various opportunities of interaction.  Our men attend conferences local and afar.  They also participate in our annual food drive, and clothing drive, located in our community.  Men’s Ministry meetings to interact and discuss the growth of our church and ways to expand the church family.

Kitchen Kids

Once you get past fifty, sixty, etc.,  the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the Kitchen Kids of Yellow Creek provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ.

Give

– Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it]. KJV

Daily Devotion

By:  Bro. Bob Maynard

6 June 2016 Verse of the Day

Philippians 1:8 NASB  For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.

Today’s VOTD starts off with a “one and only” time you will find this exact phrase For God is my witness
in all the Word of God.  Nowhere else in any book of the Bible will you find this exact phrase.  Paul is the only …

5 June 2016 Verse of the Day

Philippians 1:7 NASB  For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.

In this verse, Paul is giving the reasons why he said what he said in the previous verses.  He wants them to know why he fells the …

Philippians 1:6 NASB  For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

This verse is one of the strongest verses in the New Testament supporting the eternal security of the believer.  God does not fail and He does not quit.  When He starts a good work in you He won …

Philippians 1:5 NASB  in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now.

We have mentioned in the past that Paul was very thankful for the Christians at Philippi.  He was thankful to God for guiding and directing him there.  And he was thankful for them every time he remembered them: I thank my God in all my remembrance …

Philippians 1:4 NASB  always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all,

1 June 2016 Verse of the Day

Philippians 1:3 NASB  I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,

Who are you thankful for?  What are you thankful for?  Why are you thankful?  I want us to think about thankfulness today because it is the heart our VOTD.  The very first words that Paul speaks to these Philippian Christians is that he is thankful to God for th …

31 May 2016 Verse of the Day

Philippians 1:2 NASB  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now we come to the welcome verse that Paul passes onto the Philippian Christians.  It is much like we would say a greeting to one another.  This is Paul’s greeting to them.

Now I am sure that you remember just a couple of days ago that we covered Grace in the …

Ephesians 6:24 NASB  Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.

And so we come to the last verse in Ephesians.  This is Paul’s final words to his beloved church in Ephesus.  He had said these words to them in person the last time he saw them in person: From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called to him the el …
